Take off

Mikes birthday today and we had planned to go to see the sled dog Rally in Aviemore but the weather was damp and grey and the forecast for tomorrow bright and sunny so we hope to go tomorrow instead.
As it was the start of Chinese New Year we went into Inverness to see the Lion Dance that was meant to be happening in the Eastgate Centre but we could nt find it. We did pick up some Chinese food for tonights dinner from M&S. We listened to two young buskers in Falcon Square, they were very good and we did put some money in the violin case and then drove back home down the Beauly Firth road. Just spotted this heron on the waters edge and it took off as I opened the window. Lots of curlew too and wigeon and mallards. The tide was right in and very calm.
We've just watched 'The Jungle Book'. Excellent , really enjoyed it and if you have nt seen it definitely worth watching.
