Low Tide

Llanelli only lies a short distance from the coast. I made a flying visit to the sea-side today and found it was low tide. The sand and mud-flats seemed to stretch all the way across the estuary to the Gower Peninsula, directly opposite. The sun was coming and going from behind big, white, puffy cumulus clouds, and illuminating the thin channel of water beyond.
