Tae the Haggis

It was wet so I didn't bother with a walk. Instead I drove to the gym in the morning.

Tonightt we picked up Katy's mum and drove her to a Katy's Burns Supper. There were 11 of us this year, in the age range 48-84. Katy cooked a lovely supper of Cock a Leekie Soup, Haggis, Neeps and Tatties, and her mum brought a delicious Pavlova for pudding. All the traditional poems were recited, plus other appropriate contributions. Colin has a fine voice and not only proposed the toast to the Lassies, but also sang some ballads. It was a lovely evening. I drove so that Mr C could partake of a few wee drams. He proposed the toast to the haggis which is my blip tonight,
