At the coast

John has been sick for some weeks now with flu-like symptoms. I had no success in getting him to see a doctor. His friends succeeded though yesterday. Now, armed with two medications he is finally on the mend. 
What better medicine than a trip to the coast, I thought, and off we went this morning. The main blip is from the ocean, near South Jetty. The extras are from the Columbia River side, just before it reaches the Pacific. 
Mt. St. Helens in the distance is 75 miles (120km) away, right behind it on the left is Mt Adams, 110 miles (177km) away. 
It was a good day.
