Stacked

On Monday we had a truck-load of logs delivered. It was raining so we covered it with a tarpaulin and left it. The weather has remained off and on all week but it finally cleared up on Friday afternoon. Today I stacked the new logs in the log-shed. This is what €200 looks like.

Compare with this, which was almost all home-grown, home cut, home seasoned and home-consumed in 13 months. I guess by comparison that must have been about €400 worth. I am glad we are in a position to provide most of our own firewood.
