Candlemas

if Candlemas Day be fair and bright
Winter will have another fight.
if Candlemas Day brings cloud and rain,
Winter won't come again.


We've had a bit of everything today so we're basically buggered.

The bells are ringing full pelt summoning the gentle folk of Linton to the Candlemas Service.

I've not really moved from the sofa, still feeling rotten with this bloomin' cold. The children are off for a teacher training day tomorrow. Hooray!
