Miami Beach Joggers

With the temperatures in the mid 30c we did a walk from Burleigh Heads south to Palm Beach and back, stopping off at Burleigh Creek for a swim to cool off. There was a surfing competition at Burleigh and it and the creek were extremely busy, with people enjoying the great outdoors and lovely weather that makes Australia what it is.

We drove to a McDonlads drive in at Miami where I had a large strawberry milkshake and Mrs BB had an ice-cream as we stopped at Miami Beach. So thirst quenching.

The blip photo is of the steel jogging statue on the promenade at Miami Beach that I think is a fantastic piece of art that illustrates a popular pastime of the locals; there are always joggers and cyslists along the beaches.
