Bryron Bay & Kirra Beach
We enjoyed Byron Bay, New South Wales, so much when we went on Saturday that we returned today. The good hour drive along The Pacific Highway was a delight as the views of the lush green countryside remind us of South Wales; no doubt the early Australian settlers thought so too and named it after home. So many British place names are used in Australia you wonder the history behind it.
The extra shows Byron Bay Lighthouse with a surfer, a couple of things the area is now so noted for.
On the way home we stopped off at Kirra Beach for a walk about. I've seen the wooden pavilion quite a few times and wanted a photo of it. I was lucky enough to find a pretty girl looking out to sea to add interest. I wonder what she's thnking?
