2nd prize

BD1 brass took part in a contest today in Preston. We met in a wonderful old fashioned pub, the Black Horse, must go back for a pint one day.

We played well, and we were all pleased with our performance. Result was a 2nd place which is very good. (Wish it had been 1st) but on top of that we won best percussion section, and best horn player. So pleased for every one. Also City of Bradford Band got 5th in their section.
