Totem animal

This lizard looks fierce but he is not really. Its a young one and it is a bit wary of me being so close. I was driving on a track near home and almost ran over it. I don't like to run over any animal but especially not a sleepy lizard. In the earliest dream I can remember, when I was six years old or so, there was a big old sleepy lizard, calm and quiet, even wise, down a burrow. If I come across one I usually give it a drink, feed it (bits of fruit) and check it for obvious problems like seeds stuck under eyelids.
