Crepe Myrtle #1

   The Myrtle is root pruned and potted in a bonsai pot, with bonsai soil.  Bonsai soil is tiny rock, infused with some bark.  All of the plant nutrition is now given by me with fertilizer and water.  That can be Miracle Gro, osmocote slow release granules, or other sources.  It is absolutely amazing to me that these plants grow in rock, thrive and get even more beautiful.  
    This plant has also been trimmed... it no longer has the wild and stringy look.  I have trimmed the tree back to a point where I want the secondary plants to begin to taper smaller.  In 2 weeks, I will go back to the nursery and wire this plant out, move the branches and set them in an appropriate posistion (with help and guidance from my master).  
   I am working now to move forward from the 2 summers this plant grew wild and to begin to recollect the sprawl.  It will take time, but any thing worth doing takes time and patience.  I have both.
