Exit January.....

An amble to Leeds today for a few necessities... and a quiet, cosy, admiration for winter attire....... hats, scarves, boots, body warmers, fingerless gloves......T-Shirts...................................T-Shirts.........:O

Anyway, goodbye to January, as it fades into its own grey mist.  I love the embers of its windows, the glow of the fire, the flicker of candles, the twinkle of fairy lights, the warmth of a double pom pom hat, the comfort of an extra blanket, thick socks, homemade soup, grey - in all its shades, the drip of rain or melting snow on my windowsills and January's baron, skeletal bare bones......

January, I like you.... and I will miss you.......ish......

But come on Feb..... thinking snowdrops, daffs, red, red roses... and probably chocolate too.

T-shirts will wait until June... cast not a clout and all that :))
