Took Hazel to the Vet's to investigate a claw that he hadn't seemed much bothered about but he hadn't been washing and has not looked right for a few days. 
Typically enough, when the Vet examined the foot, the toe was nice and clean, the claw fell off neatly and will regrow in time.
