Our espresso machine comes into its own pushing out steam...

This lovely old Martin 12-string needs a neck re-set. I remove the 15th fret (the one above the neck join) & drill a couple of 2mm holes through the fingerboard. Then I insert the 2mm tube in one of the holes & squirt steam down behind the dovetail.

The rig you can see exerts fierce pressure under the heel & after five minutes or so, the steam gets the glue to give & you hear a very satisfying click! - bingo!
