Getting wet.

I had purchased a pair of boots specifically for dog walking the day before this. Admittedly they were in the "Blue cross" sale in a shoe supermarket, but I would have thought they would have been waterproof for more than a couple of miles. Apparently not!

The coffee and lunch at Heaven's scent made it worthwhile. Unfortunately the temperature dropped over lunch and the snow started pelting down on our return walk. The bus was even suggested by Ally. It must've been bad.

The stove on with a roar when we got home and the boots in their box with receipt, ready for their return to the shoe supermarket, I finally started to get warm again. This is the second pair of boots that have let in water. I hope it doesn't come in threes as the saying goes.

Kris was a star at lunch and on lead. Something is working well, BUT we met no dogs. That is the test she needs to pass.
