Koh Jum Sunset
Thailand 2017, Day 13
A lovely cool day today with a slight breeze - absolutely perfect for me, and just what the doctor ordered. We therefore went for a nice swim before breakfast, when the air was perfect and there was hardly a soul to be seen.
After breakfast we wandered along the beach, stopping a couple of times for a coffee or a bottle of water.
My extras are of one of the little tiny crabs on the beach. There are thousands like this and they all seem to make different patterns with their balls of sand. I could watch them for hours. One is a close-up of a tiny crab and the other is the full picture, showing the pattern he has made.
Later on we got a tuk tuk taxi into Koh Jum Village. We have been there before (last year) and it is a very interesting little working village. C had sweet and sour squid which cost about £2.50, and which he said was the the best squid he has ever eaten. I'm trying to stick to nothing spicy at the moment, so I ate stir-fried vegetables with cashew nuts. My other extra I took from the restaurant where we had lunch, looking back at some of the buildings and boats.
My main picture is the sunset that we have just watched, which was stunning.
Please also look at my previous blips as I'm trying to upload the last few days, but connection is very slow.
