Distant Summits

..... towards the Jaun Pass with crosses on the top. I was on the first telecabine to see what was happening up the hill after all the rain. The ski conditions are just OK if you do not stray off the piste otherwise the grass is appearing everywhere off piste. I saw quite a big avalanche sliding downhill on a north facing slope. The temperature is not low enough to bind the snow. Global warming signs are everywhere in the Alps and I doubt we shall be able to reverse this. We live in hope.
