One and only chance

A trip out west today to the beautiful little village of Llansteffan and then a visit into Carmarthen. Llansteffan is a little gem of a village, quite well known but not so much that tourists have ruined the place. Situated on the river Tywi estuary it has a nice long beach and has an historic castle overlooking it, and also has a decent little fish and chip shop, Florrie's.

I've taken plenty shots today, but whilst walking back down from the castle I came across this little wild flower and at the same time this little fella decided to land. As it's always been a challenge to get a shot like this, I've decided to go for it as it might be my only one! Lol!

In other news Operation Allan looks like its entering phase two. Exciting times!
