2017 Wednesday -- Monarch Butterflies

We've been watching the butterflies flutter past our place on California's Central Coast the past month.

Today was "field trip" day -- we went to Pismo Beach to see the Monarchs. I got a few photos but my phone camera was having serious attitude. A couple photos were taken with my phone through the scope viewer provided by the park. This photo is one of those.

Then a quick stop in Grover Beach to see vehicles on the sand because it is permissible to drive on the beach there. Then lunch in "Mesa" Arroyo Grande. Then a stop in Guadalupe at the public library and at the models of the new homes.

Then these two vegans drove to Casmalia (way off the beaten path) to find the "world famous" steak house -- the "Hitching Post." Also saw the Amtrak near there. Then to the 101 Freeway, a stop in Nipomo at Dana's Adobe, and north to Cayucos. It's been a good day with Mr. Fun (Tom).
