Blue Stars

Actually Dichroa Versicolour Blue Stars. This is an evergreen relative of the hydrangea and a lovely shrub in my garden with its large heads of denim blue flowers. Sadly in the recent storms and gale force winds it was split right down the middle and half broke away and died. A good prune before winter will hopefully fix it

I got out early  and photographed the flowers as we were off to 'Operatunity' this morning - a great show it was too.

I have been away from Blipfoto for a few days while new lenses were put in my glasses. All sorted now and my eyeballs no longer feel like they are out on sticks from trying to see without them. I look forward to seeing what everyone has been up to.
