Motueka River
Our Saturday morning Blip outing took Blipmate and I over the river bank with a very ungraceful clamber over a stile that was too high for our short legs. This is the view we saw looking up the river. The grasses were lovely and golden although we could see lots of green peeking through brought on by our last rainfall.
It was lovely to poke around in the grasses discovering all sorts of wildflower surprises with the chuckle of the river constantly playing in the background.
With a lot of high cloud, the sun was nicely filtered. There must be rain around somewhere - sandflies had a party on my bare legs.
