The final straw ....

A day of highs and lows . Another load of barley straw sold this morning.
The shed boys back again to finish off the flashings on the re roofed poly tunnel . It seems to have survived last night's gales OK .
Yesterday's calf was looking fine this morning but when I checked it at lunch time it was stone dead. It's daft mother had only gone and sat on it. Not in a good mood, this was followed by a puncture on a 10 ton trailer loaded with dung . Much f...ing about later managed to get a spare wheel on.
Eventually got finished up in time to take Littlemiss down to the village hall games night. A quiet start but more folk appeared later on.
