A strange thing happened today. It was dry ! And a big round yellow thing appeared in the sky,and hung about all day !
The ground still too wet to do anything though.
Went to a farmers meeting tonight hosted by Midlothian Council where we heard from the NFUS president how short of money we all were plus no hope of any subsidy any time soon. Then a couple of bods talked about community broadband funding for those of us in the 5% of the population that BT are not going to roll out super fast broad band to.
Then a chief inspector from Police Scotland took the flack for rural crime of various types. He was keen for folk to email him with specific details, however most of us are in the 5% not covered by BT etc.etc.
Caught this daft hen pheasant as she was attempting to bash her brains out on the wire netting covering my duck run.
