Just over 3 years ago I blipped a view of a kitchen grandfather clock our son had inherited.

I had a variety of potential blips today despite being office bound preparing for a Board meeting on Monday.

However, when I got home this appeared from our son on Facebook. I hope the text is legible but it shows the signature of the owner of the clock - and his father - who was born in 1714.

Genealogy is a passion of our son. He has over 7,000 names on our tree. With many church records in Scotland destroyed the route of court records has proved to be productive in establishing family links.
