my girls

Here we are, in the rain, me and the girls who are camping with us. I look a bit distracted, but thanks John for taking the photo for us.

We started the day with a big cooked breakfast. Crazy and yummy at the same time!

After we were cleared up and sorted for the day, we all went off to Petitts Animal adventure park. It's a family fun park with animals and rides and a big playground. The mini pinks had a great time. Master Pink spent lots of time on the "runaway train" which is a rollercoaster, and Miss Pink after some persuasion enjoyed driving Mr Toads car, and even was a really brave girl and went on the flying elephants with her big brother.

They had a small petting zoo, with pigs, goats, horses and goats. They also had some ostriches. And as Miss Pink found out, the ostriches bite small fingers!! She only had a little cut, but she was very upset. We managed to fix it all though with lots of cuddles and a peppa pig plaster.

Back at camp and the children had pasta with Alexander and then played with his rocket launcher. I had to sing to Miss Pink at bedtime....the only thing was she was requesting songs that don't exist, so I had to make them up!

The grown ups finished the day off with some wine and a chinese takeaway, and dodged the rain showers outside of the tents!
