Miss A
Introducing Miss A, our friends eldest daughter. Her mum asked if I could do a head and shoulder shot for her portfolio. She's and actress (and musician and artist). I strongly believe that a truly talented person is in reality multi-talented as she is.
I find taking female portrait's rather intimidating - no matter how lovely the sitter. Nearly all my portraits are of males - and I have no problem being robust, even brutal in the processing, but when it comes to women my knees turn to jelly.
So my dear fellow blippers, could you tell me....am I on the right track? How should I change it? Is it too dark? Are the eyes OK. Should I change the pose?
Honestly - any comment would be most welcome - even go back to the beginning and start again (which I would happily do).
Many thanks in advance.
