The cat who came in from the cold

When we walked into the library this morning we were met by a friendly mog who rubbed round our legs and posed for me beside the bookshelves. Unfortunately I only had my mini Sony camera with me and the pictures weren't very sharp.

However, the librarian let me come behind the counter to take this picture of Monty, for so he proved to be, sitting on her chair pretending to ignore the library mouse! Not the greatest picture, but it will do! He lives nearby and comes in to get dry and warm on miserable days like today. They have to make sure he's out when they leave at 1pm or he's there until Monday morning!
