Heading For Cover
A lovely dawn in Edinburgh this morning, so we went down to Portobello for a sight of the Firth sparkling in the sunshine. But ...
We walked out of the shelter of the street into an icy wind. Black clouds swept over the Fife shore. The dog-walkers, as if a signal had sounded, turned and hurried back up the beach.
So no stroll along the prom. By the time we got home the sun was out and the day was mild. There had been a heavy shower, judging by the puddles in the road, but everything was sparkling again, as in the extra.
