Fungi Heaven

A tree stump with its lopped trunk lying nearby are an open invitation to fungi. With lots of logs and tree trunks, Bourne Woods in Lincolnshire is Fungi Heaven just now. First time we've been there, when we joined daughter and son-in-law and Daisy Dog on a lovely, long walk under blue skies and sunshine early this afternoon. I liked the abstract quality of this picture.

Took loads more and, as it's the first Saturday of the month, I also put together a 1day12pics collage - Emma Davies's monthly challenge (see Extra).

After time spent in the great outdoors, we're heading back to the offspring this evening for indoor fun and games, with son-in-law's parents, as well.
