Today we met at the hotel in Santa Pola and took a walk along the beach. We walked for over an hour then we came to a delta area and could not go further without getting wet, so we walked back. There were lot of men fishing along the coast. We saw one diver. When he came back he had two squids hanging from his belt. That's a fresh lunch for the family!

After 3 hours of walking we came back to the hotel. Ones staying there went to freshen up and then we continued to Pasarela of Santa Pola lighthouse. There were loads of people. There was some kind of orienteering(?) competition in Santa Pola today. And apparently lot of those came to see the Pasarela after.

Took some photos of the sight there and continued to our house. We left the dogs home and went for lunch. My food poisoning was done over night. Today we had a nice meal (outside once again) in our nearby mall. Then some grocery shopping and returned the people to their hotel habitant.

Came home. Sorted out today's photos. Took the dogs out. Discovered that our gas heater had broken. It heats the house and water. Sent a message to our landlady. She'll come see it after 10pm after she returns from the movies in Alicante. (I'm ready to fall asleep already.) Then arranged with my parents that we can go take a shower in their hotel room. Did that. Now back at the house and watching the rest of the Melodifestival.  Missed the first hour due to the gas heater problem forcing us to take shower elsewhere. Lucky for us we were able to do that just now. But I do feel the house getting cold. Night temps are under 10°C and the sun never warms this house as it faces north. It will get freezing soon if the heater is not fixed.
