Time this morning for a quick walk into town for coffee, an unexpected treat also providing Susan with an unexpected chance to visit M&S

My afternoon was spent at the annual (in)coherence conference for rugby referee match advisors. We have set up a scheme where matches in Kent are videoed for the purpose of referee training. It was good to watch our referees in our games at our level instead of watching referees at international level or premier league.

The afternoon finished just in time to enjoy a lamb rogan josh which had been in the slow cooker all day before scooting off to Canterbury to see this superb young singer, songwriter and multi instrumentalist. She didn't disappoint, accompanied by a bassist and guitarist of equal talent. We've seen Sarah Jarosz with Transatlantic Sessions on DVD and at the Royal Festival Hall. We'll be seeing TAS again on Monday but not with Sarah who leaves for the States tomorrow.

Not sure what caused the cast on this shot, taken on the iPhone but as you can tell there's a lot of that colour in the frame.
