Hospital eye spy

I have felt a bit down recently but last night I was really unwell and at about half past midnight I was awake and sobbing uncontrollably (this doesn't really happen to me) and it was a watershed moment. I got my tens machine attached and after a couple of hours all was good with the world again.

I'm going to go back to the docs and get things looked at again as I'm unhappy about just relying on painkillers, if can't be good to go from taking no medication to taking the maximum amount each day. I feel a bit more feisty about it now and I'm going to get it sorted!

Today I continued a big clear out and am listing some of my grandmother's old books on eBay, I have kept a few aside but I can't keep everything. My mother's handwriting was spotted in this I Spy book from the late 1950s. she was staying in hospital (this exact week all those years ago) and was 'spotting' things using the book. This page made me giggle, especially the Nurse Clarke "swabbing me" bit! I am keeping this book!
