BIFFING, NOT COOING

There was definitely nothing "matey" about this scene from a vicious pigeon fight this afternoon. The one underneath, though perfectly plump and well-fed looking, was very lame with a dragging foot and the other pigeon suddenly flew down and set upon him and starting duffing him up, with lots of sneaky ambush tricks, kicking, stomping and head-pecking. I opened the window in the end and the attacker flew a little way off, while the lame one got his breath back, but they'd both disappeared about 10 minutes later.
