Arthur's Pass

In the morning I picked up another hire car and headed for the west coast. I drove across Arthur’s Pass which is beautiful. I especially liked this spot with the river and the mountains. It’s a very twisty road through the mountains and the first road to be closed in bad weather.


When I got to Greymouth I left my bag at a hostel and headed out to a couple of viewpoints along the coast. In the evening I met up with friends from London, M and G, who are on holiday here and we went for dinner and drinks.
