Spring Blossom

We had a gorgeous day today, the sun was out, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky.

I was down feeding the calves this afternoon, and saw that the blossom on the plum tree in our orchard was starting to come out. While the calves were feeding, I went over to the tree, looked up amongst the blossom and saw the most brilliant blue sky.

I took lots of different photo's today, shortlisted 4 of them tonight, and then everyone in the family had a vote as to which one I should post for today's blip. The idea was good - the only thing was that not one photo got more than 2 votes, so in the end, I had to have the casting vote and decided on this photo (I should have just decided myself initially!). I loved the contrast of blue/white colours - and reflected the truely magnificent day that we had.

Many thanks for all the comments, stars, hearts, and subscriptions that I got from yesterday's blip. My jumping calves made spotlight at 1.30am this morning, and have now made the top line of the first page of spotlight. I would also like to apologise for not having time to comment on other blippers journals. The past 3 weeks have been extremely busy, but hopefully things will start to calm down shortly, and I will be able to resume commenting.
