The Four Evangelists

After yesterday's exertions, a long but less strenuous walk from Blaenau Ffestiniog up through the old slate quarries at Cwmorthin, on to Rhosydd Quarry and Croesor Quarry before descending via Moel yr-hydd back to Blaenau Ffestiniog. Returned to Betws-y-coed on the bus in torrential rain and sheltered in St Mary's Church which has some fine stained glass windows including the west rose window depicting the symbols of the four evangelists from the firm of Shrigley & Hunt.
