Rise up

Went to body pump and upped my weights slightly. The teacher is injured and she's always a better instructor when she's watching us rather than lifting the weights herself. 

Helped son number one make a cake and then fill it with buttercream. He spent the afternoon trying to make a superbowl-themed cake using fondant icing, a rolling pin and a craft knife. The fondant icing was hard to handle and the original design had to be simplified slightly. We were impressed with the final result. 

Watched a horror film while we were waiting for the superbowl to start and had a slice of cake and coffee at kick-off. I made it as far as the half time show and then had to go to bed. Everyone else in the house gets chance for a lie-in tomorrow.
