Easier said ...

... than done. Particularly for our Newly Qualified Teachers. Had a long conversation with one today. Yes the first year is blooming hard and frenetic however we do need to help them know when to stop and press the 'off switch'. I think I might buy them their own copy of this.

Three beautiful things:

After the rain and fog last night waking up to a crisp, clear and starry sky this morning. Lots of sunshine too throughout the day.

Catching sight of quite a few buzzards looking for their prey from trees and telegraph poles. Their silhouettes unmistakable.

Bouncing ideas off of another colleague and being used as a sounding board by them as well.

One thing to be grateful for:

Having the daily dog walk as my 'off switch' for at least 30 minutes before and after work.
