Bennachie

Last day of my holidays and my dearest took me to one of my favourite places for lunch where the Cullen Skink soup is the best and of course is all home made.

One the way there took this picture of the Bennachie which is a range of hills which are very local to where I live and consist of six peaks.According to folklore this is where a giant called Jack lay down to sleep and the hills formed over him which created the peaks and I believe the one in this picture is his nose.

Shame it was pouring with rain as when the sun shines it is a spectacular sight. Maybe for another blip.
