Ouse Washes
It's been a while - 11th July actually, the last day we went on a bird watching trip and that was only just up the road from Perth to see the ospreys at Loch of the Lowes. So hearing news that the water levels at RSPB's Ouse Washes reserve were near perfect and there was a good variety of birds, it was time dust off the telescope & binoculars.
Note to self - don't go to the Ouse Washes in the morning - the light is in all the wrong places. Still a good variety of birds the highlights being a Glossy Ibis right in front of the Grose Hide and RCB's Spotted Redshank.
