Abel Tasman National Park

I'm holidaying in Nelson. Mrs KD's mother is here in NZ, out from the UK. We thought we would treat her to one of our National Parks. We caught a boat to Bark Bay and walked to Torrent Bay, then caught the boat back. What a day! This is a truly achingly beautiful place. I grew up in the area and used to walk these tracks often, but I hadn't been here in years. Our kids (6 and 4) managed the 2.5 hour walk really well. The older one just skipped along and the little guy never complained once!
