Saving for a rainy day - - -
- - - and today it has rained!
Spent the morning in the Oxfam shop, very quiet, no-one it seemed wanted to venture out. Decided I may as well get thoroughly wet so went on to the swimming baths hoping to work off some of the excesses of the weekend, (cup cakes and all that).Later visited my neighbour who seems to be making progress and is in better spirits. Tea helps!
Tonight is the first gathering of the cast for the next production, 'The Good Hope', which is going on in October. We are having a read through and it's a chance to meet each other. I have a very small part but as I am away for 2 weeks of the rehearsal period I can't complain. Always better to be in it than not!!
Not an inspiring Blip day. I cut the 3 honeysuckle flowers which seem a bit unseasonal(?) and as you see they are tastefully arranged in a vase which is too big! The little pig is one of several 'money boxes' I have. Brought up on the saving habit I can't help putting something away for that 'rainy day'. This little pig is a favoutite and holds all my 20p coins.
