What larks
Today has been good. It has included coffee, photography and design. And this is my job. Hoorah. Andy and I were at Palmer's taking some publicity shots for an Open Mic event we're re-starting. Obviously we needed a coffee to complete the image and it would have been a shame not to drink it.
I decided that I'd blip early today so that I don't have to think about it later. Unfortunately that meant me looking at blip at work and I ended up in one of those blip vortexes where you start looking at old blips and then get totally lost in it. I conferred with Robert and we agreed that it's an easy way to get lost, shamefully, for hours on end if you get really sucked in.
Today my blip wandering took me all the way back to Africa days. Ones that made me particularly LOL were when Kristi and I got bikes and weekends of jumping into sunken lakes and that filthy bath tub we had to use in Malawi and that time we had to sleep in the road and that spectacular train ride we took through Tanzania en route to Zanzibar.
And now I'm feeling more than a little nostalgic.
