Robin on a twig

The birds are still using the twig we brought home from our walk the other week. A lovely morning so I sat outside and enjoyed a cup of tea listening to the birds singing.
While Mike was having his haircut I went for a walk round the harbour in Avoch, it was cold and the sun disappeared behind some heavy clouds for a while. A mosaic has been made by the Community and I've been watching the progress on Facebook. It looks amazing and I'll blip a close up view soon, there is an unveiling on Saturday but we're away so will miss it. Today they were putting it in place and it looks good already, a sneaky peek in the extras ;) 
We went down to the Point and had our lunch, several Ringed Plovers were poking around the seaweed. The mountains have a good covering of snow and a cold,frosty night is forecast :)
