Valentines weekend

We're away for a Valentines weekend.What a great start to our break away as the sun shone all day and the scenery was amazing.
I went to the Pool with Anne and then Mike picked me up so we're were on our way and at Loch fleet by 10.30. We picked up a cuppa from Dornoch and went down to the beach.The tide was coming in and the waves were huge and a large snow cloud could be seen moving along the Firth.We wandered along watching and just listening and snapped away taking photos.
On to Little Ferry and another walk although it felt colder. Then into the forest and down to the bird hide. We spotted a roe deer running away.
Then to the snowdrop festival at Dunrobin Castle the sun was setting but the light was beautiful lighting up the pretty little snowdrops.
We've now had a tasty dinner and now back in our room. The bed was covered in rose petals with a box of chocolate hearts in the middle :)
It's snowing outside too :))))
