Cannons on Kennesaw

After leaving Uncle Jimmy's house we took a side trip up Kennesaw Mt.  It's unbelievable that there was a battle on this kind of terrain, but the cannons are still in place above the city!   
It was a beautiful view from the top, but OH so cold!!!
We have to head home early tomorrow, as a very old friend of ours has passed away.....90 years old and a very well-lived life.  

It's been a fantastic adventure, and we are so glad we did it!!
