On the Stairs

Elsie and Maisie came for a visit today. Nana and Papa are out for the day so we were dog sitting.
There was a fair bit of humping and a lot of wrestling and running around!!
I spent the day finding "contemporary and historical examples of where and how knitting or knitted items have been represented"
So interesting!!!!
Knitting socks and rifle gloves for the troops in the wars, make do and mend, fishermen knitting nets, changing fashions, changing photography, changing magazines and adverts, yarn bombing, knitting clubs, internet memes, mindfulness and meditation, mumpreneurs, the resurgence of homemade and craft.......
Nothing I love more than a bit of internet research. And if it involves images so much the better!!
Mr K took the Little Misses to Looby Lu's for tea and cake (because I don't think you can go there enough in one weekend!). Maisie slept next to me while Elsie and Archie took to the stairs. 
A delicious traditional dinner of Sunday dinner of ham, egg and chips a bit of homework, baths and bed.
