I'm so chuffed that these worked! I know they're not the best I could do, but for a first attempt I'm delighted! painting with glaze is hard (I may have mentioned that a few times). they were still warm when I got to class too, not long out the kiln. I had kind of abandoned the thought of doing more after the two I finished this week, but I had half an hour left tonight so I made a few more tiles to be fired.

I also finished sorting the bottoms of the pots that I made last week so they'll be fired this week and I can glaze them next thursday. some of them are a bit rubbish but there are a couple that I'm pleased with.

I've ordered some transfers of designs I've done for the rest of the tiles, so I hope to get them soon. I'm looking forward to seeing how they'll turn out.

in other news, peggy had her valentine's disco tonight and wee joe (her date) gave her some flowers and a note...bleeeeesss him! she's quietly pleased but more upset about her pal jade moving house.
