The beach has changed again. Recent storms have moved the sand and shingle around making the beach almost unrecognisable and this peaty exposure - thought to be the sediment at the bottom of a shallow lake has been exposed.
To all the world it looks like it was ploughed...
The whale was still in residence, smelling even more and one Glaucous Gull remains in attendance.
