Snow Down Under

MR FIX IT :

Here we are at the bottom of the garden, cleaning up in the Cherry bed. (I point my walking stick !) After 28 years a lovely variegated Maple reverted to green leaves & I didn't like it, so I asked Rod if he would take it out - at ground level. Out came the chainsaw ! While he was at it, he cleaned out a lot of rubbish - several branches of the Cherry which were smothering maples, & a climbing rose which for several years I'd been training through the cherry. It was throwing it's limbs about in a very unladylike fashion, it too, had to be taught restraint. Only a few limbs here - a tidy up. Yay. It has been a very successful afternoon & my cherry corner now looks respectable.

Although it's warm, it is a gray overcast day & not good for photography.
